Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your safari guide will pick you up from Entebbe Airport, your hotel, or any agreed location in Kampala. You will start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through beautiful landscapes, traditional villages, tea plantations, and rolling hills. Along the way, you will stop at the Equator for photos and continue through southwestern Uganda towards Bwindi. You will arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in, relax, and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure the following day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will be assigned a gorilla family and begin your trek through the rainforest. The gorilla trekking experience can take between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. During the trek, you may encounter birds, monkeys, butterflies, and other forest wildlife. Once you find the mountain gorillas, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watching these gentle giants feed, play, rest, and interact with each other is one of Africa’s most incredible wildlife experiences.
After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Return to Entebbe or Kampala
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and begin your return journey to Entebbe or Kampala. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and stop for lunch along the way.
