Detailed 4 Days Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your safari guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport, your hotel in Entebbe, or Kampala. Begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of rolling hills, local villages, tea plantations, and rural landscapes.
You will stop at the Equator for photographs and refreshments before continuing your journey. Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Gorilla trekking starts in the morning and can take between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family.
Walking through the rainforest is an exciting experience. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them as they feed, play, and interact in their natural environment. This is one of the most rewarding wildlife experiences in the world.
After trekking, receive your gorilla trekking certificate and return to the lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
