Your 5 Day Itinerary (Day by Day)
Day 1: Welcome to Uganda
- Morning: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.
- Drive: We start our journey to Kibale Forest National Park. This is a long but beautiful drive. You will see the green countryside of Uganda.
- Lunch: We will stop for a delicious lunch in Fort Portal town.
- Evening: Arrive at your lodge near Kibale. Relax, have dinner, and get ready for the next day.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Morning: After an early breakfast, go to the park headquarters for a briefing. Then, enter the forest to track chimpanzees. You will hear them before you see them! Watch them play, eat, and groom each other.
- Afternoon: After lunch, we drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park is famous for its amazing scenery and wildlife.
- Evening: Check into your lodge and enjoy the sunset over the park.
Day 3: Tree Climbing Lions & Transfer to Bwindi
- Morning: We go for a game drive in the famous Ishasha Sector. This is the only place in the world where you can see lions climbing trees!
- Afternoon: After lunch, we drive through the park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This is where the mountain gorillas live.
- Evening: Arrive at your lodge in Bwindi. The air is cool and fresh. Go to sleep early because tomorrow is the big day!
Day 4: The Magical Gorilla Trekking Experience
- Morning: This is the highlight of your trip! After an early breakfast, go to the park headquarters. You will meet your guide and be put into a group.
- The Trek: You will hike into the thick forest to find the gorillas. The hike can be short or long, but it is always an adventure.
- The Encounter: Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them. Watch them eat, play, and rest. It is a magical moment you will never forget.
- Afternoon: Return to your lodge. You can relax or take a walk in the local village.
- Evening: Celebrate your amazing day with a nice dinner at the lodge.
Day 5: Departure
- Morning: Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge. Say goodbye to the beautiful forest.
- Drive: We will drive you back to Entebbe or Kampala. We will stop for lunch along the way.
- End of Trip: We will drop you at your hotel or the airport. You will leave Uganda with a heart full of memories.
